A leaker has reportedly shared details about the release of the second GTA 6 trailer and the game itself – and if the information holds up, fans might not have to wait much longer.
As anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6 continues to grow, a cryptic message from a controversial figure has sparked fresh speculation. The leaker known as Detective Seeds posted a mysterious note on X on April 11, writing only:
“Remember remember the middle of November.” The phrase, referencing the film V for Vendetta, is being interpreted by some as a hint at the game’s potential release date. Detective Seeds is active on both X and YouTube and previously gained attention for alleged leaks about an Oblivion remake.
However, those claims turned out to be false, leading many in the gaming community to treat his posts with caution.
Second GTA 6 trailer at the end of May, according to Detective Seeds
When asked about the timing of the next trailer, Detective Seeds replied simply: “end of May.” While he didn’t offer any proof or further details, the claim lines up with previous information. Publisher Take-Two has consistently reaffirmed a 2025 release for GTA 6, most recently in March, mentioning a clear target of “fall.” Gaming insiders at GTA VI O’Clock have also noted that Rockstar typically drops a second trailer about six months before launch. If that pattern holds, a trailer in May followed by a November release would make perfect sense.
Reddit users aren’t convinced
The skepticism toward Detective Seeds is especially evident in a German thread on the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. Many users there question his credibility, criticizing his vague statements that always seem to fit in hindsight. Comments range from “Who is this anyway?” to open calls to block or ignore him in the future. Despite the overwhelmingly negative tone, the possibility that his latest claims could turn out to be true can’t be completely dismissed.
